Designed and built a robotic arm using servos and PIC16 microcontroller. 3D modeling and design was done in Solidworks software and parts built out from sheet aluminum. Uses Hitec HS805 and HS755 servos and pololu servo controller.
Control software was developed in Visual Basic for graphical motion control and communicates with the robot controller using UART (RS-232 protocol).
Future improvements - working on gripper design and infrared sensors as well as mobile rover and wireless capabilities.
