1) Solid memory expansion.: These 72-pin SIMMS pop easily into most motherboards. From older Apple PowerMac PPC to 486 and 586 and Pentium class computers. By extension this means AMD k6-II platforms (super socket 7). The EDO is a nice added feature for system boards that support it. Does not hinder its use in older systems however.

Main benefits: Faster computer speed and performance w this 32MB EDO SIMM memory module. One of the benefits to my computer was faster multitasking, Web browsing and gaming. My hard drive thrashed less (since less virtual memory was needed) and apps opened up much faster.
