1) It works: I received my order in the time I expected and it was what I ordered. I have always been happy with Amazons service. My problem with this item is with the product itself. This is the third Ac Adapter we have bought for our Dell laptop. The original adaptor just stopped working after about a year after we got the laptop for our teenage son. The second adaptor lasted about a year before it started acting up. We only had the third adaptor for three months. One big problem is that the way the cord comes out of the adaptor it is very easy to bend it or accidently pull the cord cover from the adaptor. I have recently been told that the main reason for the problem with this adaptor is that the laptop can overheat and cause damage to the ac adaptor. We have since bought a cooling pad to keep under the laptop. We will see how this works. We also bought our son a new desktop so the laptop won"t be used as much.
