1) Great product for any type of MiniDV play-head.: I know most people will use this for their MiniDV cameras, but I used it to clean my professional MiniDV deck, and it worked perfectly. I"ve got a Panasonic deck and this tape-cleaner did the job right away, as promised. Amazon seems to be the cheapest place to get it.
2) Did the job!!: I thought my digital camcorder was done for....used the head cleaner 1x and picture is great again!
