CapKeeper2 is an elastic loop, which wraps around lens barrel of your camera, with lens cap leash. It prevents lens cap loss with adhesive-backed disc attached to the cap. CapKeeper2 is designed for SLR cameras with interchangeable lenses and video cameras.

1) digital camara user: The attachment onto the lens cap broke on the first day I used it. The lens on my SLR is too large for other style attachments that connect from the cap to the camara. There must be a better way to attach a lens caps to a camara! Thankfully, I didn"t loose the lens cap.
2) Just what I needed: This was just what I needed. I was a little worried as this keeper was the most inexpensive one; but it turns out to be terrific. It is well constructed and works great on my 72mm (filter size) lens.
3) Don"t Be Crazy!: Don"t Be Crazy! I just bought this EXACT same item today for $2.69 at my local camera store!
4) Capkeeper keeps cap: Very convenient - the keeper attaches to the cap with a piece of sticky tape. I was worried about how strong the bond was but it seems fine. The keeper has an elastic band that fits around the lens and tethers the cap to the camera. The elastic does not interfere with zoom operation and is not even noticeable on the camera.

5) Works great.: Bought this for my Nikon D80 28-135mm lens. It"s a piece of thin cord with elastic on one end and a piece of round foam tape on the other with the Sima logo to stick to your lens cap. I first tried putting the elastic around my lens (as in the picture), but it kept getting in the way when I zoomed in and out. So I looped the elastic through my neck strap. The down side to this approach is not having a lens cap when I change lenses, which wasn"t an issue until recently, since I only had the one lens. While the cord/leash could be a little longer, it works just fine. I"ve taken my lens cap off and on numerous times, but it has not come off.
