An S-Video & Composite A/V cable for compatible Sony Handycam(R) camcorders / Approx. 10" Long / Gold-tipped terminals

1) Just what we needed: Very nice product, it gives you the RCA option & the S terminal for better quality.
2) Couldn"t be without it!: Having the S-Video on the cable really does make a difference over the original that came with the camera. This is especially important when transferring recorded tapes to DVD.
3) Hard to find plug: I searched all over for this replacement jack for my camera. Excellent product and services that were rendered.
4) Sony Audo/Vidoe Cable: I bought this cable as a replacment for the standard cable supplied with my Sony HDR HC1 HDV camcorder. It is longer that the standard cable and is significantly better quality. I recommend this over the standard cables.

5) It"s a cable, and it works: It is only an av cable so there isn"t much to say. I use it to transfer video tapes from an old Hi-8 camera to a computer through my Handycam. I wanted the s-video connection for highest quality. I gave the item 4 stars because it is too expensive.
